This webinar provides an overview on Perceptrons.
A Perceptron is the most basic kind of neural network and comprises a single neuron, tailored on the concept of a biological neuron in the human brain. It takes certain weighted inputs, sums them up, applies a certain activation function to perform some kind of desired transformation and then outputs the result.
Multiple individual Perceptrons may be connected together to form multiple layers in a Multi-Layer Perceptron (MLP) model. This forms the basis of Deep Neural Networks (DNNs), deep learning models which are powering the most complex of AI applications like image processing, speech recognition, language translation etc.
