Kai-Fu Lee is a Taiwanese venture capitalist, technology executive, writer, and computer scientist. He is currently based in Beijing, China. Lee has had an interest in AI for over 30 years where he went to Columbia for his undergraduate degree in Computer Science. At the end of his UG career he submitted his paper to Carnegie-Melon where he got accepted into a Ph.D program.
