    This technology is the future. Deepmind’s main competitor, OpenAI funded by Elon Musk, came up with something for dota 2 that defeated pros in 1v1 with sick and innovative moves/strats. If you don’t know dota 2, it’s probably one of the most complex games out there. If it can come up with something nearly unbeatable (even for pros) in a such a short amount of time, imagine what it can do to chess.

    now Google’s engine is the new alpha in the Chess Engine World 🙂 but in all seriousness the only thing I saw was info on chess.com and it surprised me how well Google managed to program the machine to teach itself in 4 hours and understand different concepts proved through its evaluation of less positions than Stockfish, playing close to a human, where they evaluate the position but don’t calculate brutally.
